Leading the commercial operations in Country Manager – South Korea for Integra Lifesciences.

  1. Strategic Leadership and Delivery of Commercial Goals
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Korea market, aligning with global objectives.

  • Drive revenue growth and market share through effective market penetration and expansion strategies.

  1. Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Work with the regional team in building clinical/technical, product and selling capabilities of the sales team

  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, ensuring optimal team performance.

  1. Distributor Management
  • Establish an effective network of distribution partners in the country. Nurture strong relationships with distributors to enhance market reach and penetration.

  • Monitor and evaluate distributor performance, implementing strategies to optimize channel effectiveness.

  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, including key opinion leaders, physicians/surgeons and hospital administrators.

  • Identify customer needs and preferences, ensuring the company's products and solutions meet or exceed expectations.

  1. Market Development and Professional Education
  • Lead and execute professional education strategies that improve skills of physicians, shape and expand adoption of Integra’s therapies and further the treatment areas which Integra’s products and solutions serve.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Ensure continuous training and knowledge enhancement to support product adoption and usage.

  1. Sales and Marketing Execution
  • Develop, execute and monitor regular sales strategies to drive Integra’s market share through account penetration, therapy adoption, value capture installed base upgradation and market share gain

  • Partner with the Service and Repair function to ensure satisfaction of customers in Integra’s capital equipment customer base

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with regional and functional leaders such as finance, regulatory affairs, quality, customer service and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and achievement of organizational goals.
  1. P&L Management
  • Deliver consistently on top and bottom-line targets in line with Integra’s aspirations in the country

  • Develop and manage the annual budget for the Korea operations, optimizing resource allocation to achieve financial targets.

2Qualification

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

  • 15+ years in sales, marketing, general management in the medical device industry and/or pharmaceutical industry in Korea with atleast 5 years in a country leadership or business unit head position

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the medical device industry in Korea. Experience in starting up direct commercial operations in Korea will be an additional advantage

  • Track record of leading sales-marketing teams to top tier performance in the segment of the medical device industry

  • Experience in formulating and executing strategies that helped shape the market/therapy, training/education of physicians,

  • Strong understanding of the South Korea healthcare market, regulatory landscape, and distribution channels.

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build trusting business relationships.

  • Fluency in Korean and English - reading, writing and spoken.

  • Strong project management skills
