JOB DESCRIPTION

The Processing Support Technician will be responsible for performing support activities in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), accurately prepping, shipping, and verifying tissue products. This individual will be required to systematically move tissue to appropriate locations before, during and after the tissue has been shipped for sterilization and testing. This person is also responsible for precisely documenting each move/step for every product associated.

This individual will be required to systematically move tissue to appropriate locations before, during and after the tissue has been shipped for sterilization and testing. This person is also responsible for precisely documenting each move/step for every product associated.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prep and ship product for sterilization. i.e. 10 bag and place tamper seal

  • Prep and ship samples to testing sites.

  • Update FG Dashboard as needed.

  • Sign out samples accurately.

  • Verify test results and sign testing forms after results are finalized.

  • Move product through Oracle system when shipping product to the sterilizer and after shipping of samples.

  • Freeze/use inserts and credo shippers according to SOP/ Properly inspect.

  • Order dry ice as needed.

  • Order supplies as needed: e.g., biohazard stickers/tamper seal tape etc...

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer skills for email and data entry.

  • Must read, write, and speak in English, and communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Able to participate in a team-oriented environment, willingness to assist and train others.
